Kathmandu : Anjan Shrestha has been confirmed as the next senior vice-president of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI). This announcement comes after Umesh Lal Shrestha withdrew his candidacy for the position.

Previously, no candidate was able to secure the required 51 percent of the total votes casted during the initial election. However, as a result of Umesh Lal Shrestha’s withdrawal, there will be no need for a re-election.

Anjan Shrestha will now assume the role of senior vice-president of FNCCI.
