Kathmandu : President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office to the newly elected Chairman of the National Assembly (NA), the Upper House, Narayan Prasad Dahal on Tuesday.

President Office’s Spokesperson Sailaja Regmi Bhattarai informed that President Paudel administered the oath of office to the newly elected chairperson Dahal as per the National Assembly Regulation 2075, Rule 217 (Ka) Schedule 2. 

Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda, Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Dev Raj Ghimire among other high dignitaries were present in the swearing-in ceremony at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas.
