Baraili from RedVoiceNepal Receives Dilip Ghimire Memorial Journalism Award
Kathmandu : Gopal Baraili, currently working at Redvoiceanepal.com, has been honored with the Dilip Ghimire Memorial Journalism Award established in memory of the late journalist Dilip Ghimire.
This recognition was conferred upon Baraili during the 12th convention of the Kathmandu branch of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Association. He received a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 along with the award.
Baraili is former central member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Association and a central council member of the Kathmandu branch. He has been actively involved in journalism for 23 years. Baraili has served as the chairman of Dhanukuta’s first community radio, Dhanukuta FM, and is also active at BFBS Gorakha Radio.
The Association has honored 26 individuals, including Baraili, Nabaraj dahal, Phadindra Phuyal, Kalika Mahat, Vishnu Nishchal, Damodar Dawadi, Indra Rijal, and Sagar Pant, with various awards.
They were felicitated by Information and Communication Technology Minister Rekha Sharma, President of the Nepal Journalists Association Bipul Pokharel, and President of the Kathmandu branch Surya Subedi.
