Kathmandu : The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided not to support Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in his confidence vote.

Sources indicate that the party sees no chances of its agendas being addressed by the new coalition, and the current coalition has yet to unveil its seven-point agreement.

As a result, the RPP will not be giving a vote of confidence to PM Oli.

Speaking with Khabarhub, RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden confirmed that the party will not support PM Oli and will not join the government anytime soon.

Currently, PM Oli is supported by 193 lawmakers, including 78 from UML, 88 from Nepali Congress, six from Janamat, seven from the Ashok Rai-led JSP, five from the Upendra Yadav-led JSP Nepal, four from the Nagarik Unmukti Party, four from LSP, and one independent lawmaker.
