Kathmandu : Two people have been found dead in a guest house in Sinamangal of Kathmandu.

According to SP Nawaraj Adhikari, the spokesperson at the District Police Range Kathmandu, 23-year-old Bharat Bahadur Sarki and Karisma Sarki of around 19 years of Tribeni Municipality-4 of Bajura were found dead in the guest house.

It is revealed that they had been staying at Jharna Guest House in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9, Shambhu Marga, since July 30.

The staffers of the guest house had informed the police after they did not come for food till 12 pm today and did not respond when called, said SP Adhikari.

When the police opened the door around 1:15 pm, the man was found hanging from the ceiling of the Room No. 204 while the woman was dead with her throat slit.

The police have initiated the case after preparing a site report, said SP Adhikari.
