Kathmandu : Along with various parts of the country, the Kathmandu Valley has also witnessed rains since last night.

According to Govind Jha, a meteorologist at the Weather Forecasting Division, moderate to heavy rainfall is currently occurring in the Valley. “There is light rain in some places of the Valley”, he added.

According to Jha, the rain is likely to continue in the Kathmandu Valley throughout the day today.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, in the last 12 hours, 97 mm of rain has been recorded in the Valley.

Similarly, 70.4 mm of rain has fallen in Budhanilkanth during the period. Likewise, 48.8 mm in Sundarijal, 45 mm in Kathmandu’s Dhapdyam, and 40 mm at Lele of Lalitpur are recorded, according to the details issued by the Department.

Meteorologist Jha said that it has rained in all parts of the valley.
