Govt forms 3-member commission to probe Nuwakot helicopter crash
Kathmandu : A helicopter belonging to Air Dynasty crashed in Suryachaur, Shivpuri Rural Municipality Ward Number 7, in Nepal’s Nuwakot district on Wednesday afternoon.
Captain Arun Malla and four Chinese nationals were killed in the crash.
Search and rescue teams from the Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Army have recovered all the bodies from the crash site and transported them to Kathmandu.
According to DSP Tilak Bharati, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Nuwakot, the bodies have been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) for postmortem.

The government has formed a three-member probe panel to investigate the Nuwakot helicopter crash.
An emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday formed the probe panel led by senior pilot Subas Thapa of the Nepali Army.
Bishnu Basnet and Tanuja Pokharel are members of the commission.
Prithvi Subba Gurung, spokesperson of Nepal government and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, informed that the commission has been given a period of 30 days.
