Bodies of Indians killed in Tanahun bus accident send to India

Kathmandu : Twentry-seven bodies of Indians killed in the Tanahun bus accident were sent to India on Saturday.

Out of 27, 25 bodies were sent to Maharastra via Indian Air Force Plane on Saturday afternoon whereas the bodies of the Driver and Co-driver were sent to Gorakhpur via land after post-mortem today.

According to Police, an Indian Air Force plane arrived at the Bharatpur Airport on Saturday afternoon to receive the bodies of the deceased in the Tanahun Bus Accident on Friday.

On Friday, 27 people were killed when a bus number UP 53 FT 7623 coming from Pokhara towards Kathmandu had an accident at Ainpahara, Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality-2, Tanahun. 16 people were injured in the accident.
