Kathmandu : A Hilux Jeep veered off the road and plunged into the Sunkoshi River on Saturday in Kudule, Golanjhor-1, Sindhuli district. The vehicle was en route to Kathmandu at the time of the accident.

According to police reports, four people were inside the vehicle.

A diving team from the Armed Police Force (APF) has been deployed to search for the missing vehicle and its occupants.

One person managed to survive by jumping from the vehicle and sustained injuries.

The whereabouts of the other three individuals—Abin BK, 32, the driver, Pranit Syagu, 30, and Balram Ghatuwa of Suryabinayak Municipality, Bhaktapur-are still unknown.

The search operation is ongoing.
