We received favorable comments about Nepal from every country we visited: Foreign Minister Rana
Kathmandu : Foreign Affairs Minister Dr. Arzu Rana has returned home wrapping up her 19-day-long foreign visit.
Upon her arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Friday, Minister Rana claimed that her foreign visit has been a resounding success in boosting Nepal’s reputation in global arena and brining in foreign investments for the prosperity of Nepal.
“There was an Asia Cooperative Dialogue in Qatar, focusing on world peace, and the unrest taking place in Asia. The dialogue also dwelled on sports diplomacy. I highlighted Nepal’s potential of mountaineering and water rafting arguing that Nepal could take the lead in it,” said Minister Rana, “A remarkable aspect of our foreign trip was the positive reception and favorable comments about Nepal from people in every country we visited.”
Minister Rana further claimed that this foreign visit has been a huge success in showcasing Nepal as the desired destination for investment and enhancing its image in the global arena.
Minister Rana on September 16 had left for Canada to attend a meeting of women foreign ministers held in Toronto. After participating in the meeting on September 19 and 20, she flew to New York to attend the 79the General Assembly of the United Nations.
After participating in the UNGA in New York, she attended the Third Summit of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue organized in Doha, Qatar, before flying back to Nepal.
