Kathmandu : Nepal GoodWeave Foundation recently celebrated its 30th anniversary alongside the 20th year of its unique Common Birthday tradition for children at Hamro Ghar Transit Home.

The event, chaired by President Ubaraj Bhandari, featured Chief Guest Deputy Mayor Shanta Thapa, who lauded the foundation’s efforts to eliminate child labor, particularly in the carpet industry.

Highlights included cultural performances, personal stories of resilience, and a collective cake-cutting by the children, symbolizing unity. Gifts from various donors added joy to the occasion.

The foundation reaffirmed its dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating vulnerable children while expressing gratitude to its supporters.
