Royalist stir has complicated political atmosphere: Socialist Front

Kathmandu : The Socialist Front has concluded that the royalist demonstrations have further complicated the political situation in the country.

This conclusion was reached during the 12th Central Committee meeting of the Front, held at the central office of the CPN (Unified Socialist) in Aloknagar on Friday morning, Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma ‘Prakanda’, the spokesperson for the Nepal Communist Party, informed.

The meeting also decided to thwart any regressive steps, according to Prakanda.

The Socialist Front’s meeting has also decided to hold interactions with civil society members, journalists and intellectuals on Saturday regarding the latest political situation.

The Front has also decided to initiate political dialogue with parliamentary, political parties and leaders outside the parliament. “It has been decided to take a broad political initiative to create an environment to firmly advance the journey toward national sovereignty, the protection of the republic, and socialism,” he said.

The meeting was attended by CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, Nepal Socialist Party Chairman Mahindra Raya Yadav, among other leaders.
