Leaders including Prime Minister, Speaker, UML Chair at Teaching Hospital
Kathmandu : Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and other leaders have reached the University Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj after receiving the news of the death of the Chairman of the Constituent Assembly and former Speaker Subaschandra Nemmabang.
Along with Prime Minister Prachanda, UML President KP Oli, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, former Minister Lal Babu Pandit and many other UML leaders are now in the teaching hospital.
He died at around 2 am on Tuesday due to a heart attack. He was taken to the teaching hospital in Maharajganj after suffering a heart attack at his residence in Baluwater.
Nembang was born on March 11, 1953 in Ilam. He was elected from Ilam- 2 in the election held on November 20, 2022. Nembang was a five-time MP from Ilam.
The doctor said that he had died when he was taken to the hospital. Nembang is also the chairman of the Constituent Assembly and former speaker.
