The night before my first day as a teacher, I get a call for my approval . At that night I can’t sleep well because there were too many questions coming a head in my mind.

I was little nervous and afraid too. It was something totally different for me, it was something that I had never done before. I had never thought that one day I will start my career as a teacher. It was something which never came across in my mind, not even for a single movement .

I felt very dreamy rather than reality. Even before my school teacher, Sova Tamang had encouraged me to partake in teaching for a long time but at that time I didn’t think that I would be cutout for teaching. But due to the persistence of Sova mam encouraging me to became a teacher, it had some what made a positive thought in my mind. Thus, I finally decide to become a teacher and informed Sova mam about my decision. And she was very happy about it.

She told me that I can come from tomorrow and she would help me in adjusting in my teaching life. In my mind, there were questions such as what am I going to do? What should I tell the students? Is this how it is supposed to be done? I was in completely confusion in my mind.

I felt very scared as I never prepared any teaching material before. So, I spent more time in preparing resources for those first some hours before entering class. Upon arriving at classroom, I was welcomed with a “Good morning teacher ” which had bring smile on my face unknown to me. The environment in the classroom was great I could tell that the students were excited to see me as their new teacher. After that, we had our short introduction and began to start our lesson.

They were very excited to know more about me so, that day rather than contuine lesson we were having our own conversation in introducing eachother.After being close to students in that short introduction I feel more comfortable than before. The first day of school as a teacher will be one to remember. That sense of excitement, nervousness and anxiety definitely which raises my heart racing. It was the short of journey and one that will leave mymark on my life forever. My first day had me filled with fear before hand but left me excited by the end. It became more nice than I expect
