Five Nepalis killed in road accident while returning home from Mahakumbh Mela

Kathmandu : Five Nepali people died in a jeep accident that occurred while they were returning to Janakpur from Mahakumbh Mela in India. All of them are from Janakpur.

Indian media outlets have reported that they died in an accident in Muzaffarpur, India on Saturday. Four people sustained injuries in the accident.
The deceased are identified as Mantaran Devi, Balkrishna Jha, Archana Thakur, Indu Devi, and the driver. Similarly, Shrishti Thakur, Kamini Jha and Manohar Thakur were injured.
The high-speed Scorpio jeep lost control and turned turtle on the road while swerving a motorbike, said the police.
