
KATHMANDU — Prime Minister Sushila Karki has summoned a cabinet meeting for Wednesday at 1 PM, according to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Communications Minister Jagdish Kharel confirmed that the cabinet meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar.
Later in the afternoon, a tripartite meeting involving representatives from the government, political parties, and protest groups is scheduled to take place at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar at 4 PM.
This will be the first time Prime Minister Karki, who took office on September 12, is convening party leaders and protest representatives in a single forum for dialogue. The cabinet meeting will precede the historic consultation aimed at addressing ongoing political tensions.
