Baitadi : Six people from the same rural municipality were killed in a jeep accident in Baitadi district.

The deceased have been identified as 60-year-old Mane Bohara, Nare Bohara,42, Gorakh Bohara,35, Man Bahadur Dhami, 45, Birkha Dhami, 45, and Bire Dhami,40, of Kedarsyun Rural Municipality-5, Bajhang, said District Police Office, Baitadi.

Five others traveling in the jeep jumped to safety. The ill-fated jeep, Se 1 Ja 764, heading to Bagthala of Bajhang from Jhulalghat of Baitadi, met with an accident at Patan Municipality-8, Jhaulek at 11 pm on Tuesday, said DSP Prem Bahadur Shahi.

The break-failure is suspected behind the accident. Security personnel have been deployed to the accident site, said Sahi.
