Kathmandu, Dec 31 — The trophy of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka, will be brought to Nepal for the first time as part of the official Trophy Tour.

According to a press statement issued by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Tuesday, the World Cup trophy will be in Nepal from January 5 to January 7, 2026. The tournament itself is scheduled to begin on February 7, 2026.

CAN said detailed information regarding the trophy tour schedule, venues, and planned activities will be announced through a separate press release.

Nepal has been placed in Group C for the T20 World Cup 2026, alongside England, West Indies, Italy, and Bangladesh.
