Kathmandu — Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today, with the US dollar, euro, pound sterling and other major international currencies assigned official buying and selling rates.
According to the central bank, the US dollar (USD) has been fixed at NPR 153.78 for buying and NPR 154.38 for selling.
The Euro (EUR) stands at NPR 172.32 for buying and NPR 172.99 for selling, while the UK Pound Sterling (GBP) is set at NPR 203.32 for buying and NPR 204.11 for selling. The Swiss Franc (CHF) has been fixed at NPR 185.50 for buying and NPR 186.22 for selling.

Gulf Currencies
The Saudi Arabian Riyal has been fixed at NPR 40.96 for buying and NPR 41.12 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 42.19 and NPR 42.35, respectively.
The UAE Dirham is valued at NPR 41.87 for buying and NPR 42.03 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar, meanwhile, remains one of the highest-valued currencies on the list at NPR 498.80 for buying and NPR 500.75 for selling.
Asian Currencies
The central bank has set the Chinese Yuan at NPR 22.94 for buying and NPR 23.03 for selling. The Japanese Yen is quoted per 10 units, at NPR 9.74 for buying and NPR 9.77 for selling.
Similarly, 100 South Korean Won is valued at NPR 11.44 for buying and NPR 11.48 for selling, while the Malaysian Ringgit stands at NPR 37.63 and NPR 37.77, respectively.
The Indian Rupee, meanwhile, has been fixed at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 Indian Rupees.
Rates Can Change
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time depending on market conditions. Exchange rates offered by commercial banks may also differ from the rates published by the central bank.
