KATHMANDU: Voters will be able to cast their ballots in the upcoming House of Representatives election on March 5, 2026, using their national identity cards.

The Election Commission officially launched this new provision on Thursday, with Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari inaugurating the initiative.

The move aims to simplify the voting process and enhance accessibility for eligible voters across the country.
