
KATHMANDU: Jayaram Phuyal of Kageshwori Trade Concern has been unanimously re-elected as Vice President of the Valley Chapter of the Chemical and Medical Supply Association Nepal (CHEMSAN).
The election was held during the fourth Annual General Meeting of the association last Friday. Phuyal, widely regarded in the market as a sincere and trustworthy entrepreneur, secured his second term in the position unopposed.
According to the final candidate list published by the Election Committee Secretariat, all positions in the executive committee were filled unanimously as the number of candidates matched the number of available posts, eliminating the need for voting.
Earlier, Rajesh Neupane of Edward Trading Pvt. Ltd. had withdrawn his candidacy for the member position through a written application, leading to the finalization of an uncontested list.
Chief Election Officer Advocate Shivaraj Dhital stated that as per the association’s statute, the entire executive committee was elected unanimously after only one candidate remained for each post.

The newly elected executive committee is as follows:
- President: Punya Prasad Nepal (Nepal Surgichem International) – Unopposed
- Vice President: Jayaram Phuyal (Kageshwori Trade Concern) – Unopposed
- General Secretary: Dipak Prasad Dahal (Dipjyoti Scientific Trading Concern) – Unopposed
- Treasurer: Kiran Timalsina (Sofi International Pvt. Ltd.) – Unopposed

- Prakash Ghimire (Horizon Trade Link)
