
Kathmandu: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued a weather alert warning of strong winds in several districts across five provinces on Tuesday afternoon and evening.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, strong winds are likely to affect Jhapa and Morang districts of Koshi Province along with nearby areas after Tuesday afternoon.
The department said several districts in Madhesh Province, including Bara, Parsa, Sarlahi and Dhanusha, are also expected to experience strong winds.
Similarly, Makawanpur and Chitwan districts of Bagmati Province have been identified as potential risk areas.
In Gandaki Province, strong winds are forecast in Nawalpur and Tanahun districts, while Rupandehi district and surrounding areas in Lumbini Province may also be affected.
The department has urged residents in the affected areas to remain cautious and take necessary safety measures to minimize possible damage and risks caused by strong winds.
