Nepal GoodWeave Foundation has marked its Annual Day and Common Birthday Celebration with a special programme aimed at promoting togetherness and shared joy among children living at Hamro Ghar Transit Home.

Speaking as the chief guest, Ms Shant Thapa said she felt a deep emotional bond with the children and described her visits to Nepal GoodWeave as a source of happiness. She praised the organisation’s long-standing work in tackling child labour and supporting children through rehabilitation and access to education.

Chairing the event, Nepal GoodWeave Foundation President Mr Ubaraj Bhandari said the practice of celebrating common birthdays has been continued for many years to foster unity, equality and a strong sense of family among the children.

The programme concluded with a cake cutting ceremony and the distribution of gifts contributed by partner organisations and individual well wishers, adding to the festive atmosphere of the occasion.
