KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley is expected to experience partly to generally cloudy conditions today, with isolated light to moderate rainfall likely in the afternoon and evening, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

The Division has forecast a chance of light to moderate rain in the valley on Monday, particularly during the afternoon and evening.

Rainfall is expected to be scattered, with some areas likely to receive rain while others may remain dry. Cloudy conditions are expected to prevail across the valley, with occasional sunny intervals.

Meanwhile, the weather system over India has weakened, bringing an end to the continuous rainfall Nepal experienced over the past few days. Rainfall intensity decreased significantly from Sunday evening.

However, with the monsoon still active in Nepal, light rainfall continues in some parts of the country.
