KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Thursday, October 29, 2026, with the US dollar priced at Rs 152.06 for buying and Rs 152.66 for selling.
The US dollar has gained Rs 0.17 compared to the previous day’s rate. On Wednesday, the dollar was fixed at Rs 151.89 for buying and Rs 152.49 for selling.
According to the latest rates, the euro has been fixed at Rs 169.17 for buying and Rs 169.83 for selling, while the British pound sterling stands at Rs 202.00 and Rs 202.79, respectively.
The Swiss franc is priced at Rs 183.12 for buying and Rs 183.84 for selling. Similarly, the Australian dollar is fixed at Rs 106.87 and Rs 107.29, while the Canadian dollar stands at Rs 108.15 and Rs 108.58.
Among Asian and Gulf currencies, the Chinese yuan is priced at Rs 22.81 for buying and Rs 22.90 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 40.52 and Rs 40.68, while the Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 41.72 and Rs 41.88.
The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.40 for buying and Rs 41.56 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 37.30 and Rs 37.44. Ten Japanese yen are priced at Rs 9.63 for buying and Rs 9.67 for selling.
The Kuwaiti dinar remains the highest-valued currency in the NRB’s published list, at Rs 493.14 for buying and Rs 495.09 for selling. The Bahraini dinar is fixed at Rs 402.97 and Rs 404.56, while the Omani rial stands at Rs 394.95 and Rs 396.50.
The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees remains unchanged at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
