KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today, with the buying rate for one US dollar set at Rs. 151.95 and the selling rate at Rs. 152.55.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs. 106.52, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 106.95. Similarly, the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is Rs. 106.91 and the selling rate is Rs. 107.33.
The NRB has set the buying rate for one European euro at Rs. 170.07 and the selling rate at Rs. 170.74.
For the UK pound sterling, the buying rate has been fixed at Rs. 201.57, while the selling rate is Rs. 202.37.
The central bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may differ from the rates fixed by Nepal Rastra Bank.
