KATHMANDU, The Nepalese Rupee (NPR) faced significant downward pressure today as the U.S. Dollar (USD) reached higher baselines, climbing noticeably compared to yesterday’s market rates. According to the latest update from the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the dollar’s selling price has advanced to Rs. 155.15.

While major European and British currencies showed a marginal correction, Gulf region currencies and the Malaysian Ringgit tracked the U.S. Dollar’s strong upward momentum due to their respective structural linkages. The Indian Rupee (INR) remains locked at its long-standing fixed rate.
